Welcome to Hopnow, a blog concerned with how we can best make a contribution to actually getting rid of the occupation of Palestine and doing it ASAP. The topics of conversation will relate specifically to evaluating the effectiveness of current anti-occupation work and finding better ways to get the job done.
In part this blog came out of a concern that very little was being done in serious assessment of anti-occupation work. Clearly this is needed; we keep doing the same things while the objective situation facing Palestinians continues to deteriorate. In the case of the United States, we still face the absolute refusal of the administration and congress to alter the self-defeating program of total support of Israeli aggression.
Comments and conversations directly relating to improvement in what we are doing is encouraged. To get a better idea of what I have in mind, click on “About.” If you want to see some, but certainly not all, areas of possible discussion go to “Questions to Consider,” Because the controversy surrounding Atzmon’s book The Wandering Who has important implications for how anti-occupation work is done, I have included my reflections on this issue.
